Enterprise face authentication built for hosted SaaS, on-premise and air-gapped deployments.

The challenge

Enterprise customers needed fast, secure face authentication without forcing all biometric data into a shared cloud model. The product needed to support both SaaS and client-managed environments.

Solution

I architected a FastAPI platform with hardware-locked licensing, liveness detection, dynamic JWT lifecycles and post-quantum cryptography. The matching system updates face embeddings over time so users do not need to repeatedly re-enrol as their appearance changes.

It continually refines a person’s representation from verified use, reducing needless re-enrolment while retaining liveness and identity controls.
